I am interested in purchasing a Lepus from a person here in Idaho Falls, ID. It looks to be in pretty good shape, however the chain is missing a tensioner and it doesn't appear to be routed correctly. I can't find information on the model/year of this Lepus. It has the Nexus red gearing and a Schlumpf chainring. Can you help me find a routing diagram for the chain and replacement parts for the tensioner. I'm also interested in finding accessories such as light and computer brackets as well as mirror and suggestions to improve rear visibility. Email direct is OK at firstname.lastname@example.org.
That was very helpful, thanks1 Do you have any suggestions on finding a tensioner mechanism? The bracket was broken and the rollers/guides are missing.
The best would probably be to find a Hase dealer who could get the original spare parts for you. (hasebikes.com/108-0-usa.html)
It seems like there is no Hase dealer near you, but maybe one of those can help you too:
If you want to fix it youself, you might want to strip an ordinary rear derailleur for the mechanism. For the idlers (I think that's the official term for the "rollers/guides" any recumbent replacement would do.Kettwiesel AL mit Rohloff und Differential
