With 20 inch wheels you come lower to the groud and get easier handling, also if you need to carry the leps around.
The 26 inch version is very, very old ...

Spawn, what year did they make the Lepus with 26 inch rear wheels? Do you know where I can find a picture of one?

Thanks for the links Spawn. I have tried to search and have come up empty in the past. Oh well! Guess I need to learn German LOL! I sure would be interested in riding one of these. I wonder if they would be faster than the current design. With the bigger tires I bet they are not as stable but I am sure they are probably much faster.

The oldest information I have is about 10 years old. And by that time the Lepus came already with 20 inch rims and disc brakes. I assume that the smaller wheels and the disc brakes came together (because I never saw a Lepus with small wheels and rimbrakes or the other way round), probably between 2000 and 2004, as discs were relativly uncommon before that time. Hase startet 1994 (20 years anniversary at the moment!) and the Lepus came 1995 (see history section on the Hase page). So proably that's why you heavn't seen any so far. There are not so many.
