Hop into the mesh seat. With the new foldable handlebars, mounting the trike is child’s play. Helmet? Check! Safety belt? Check! Ready? Steady! Go! Solid handling around the curves, super tight turning, plenty of power for churning up slopes and down again with strong brakes to bring the action to a standstill. The Trets is now available with an optional Shimano 8-speed hub. Totally ideal for kids: shifting when parked and low maintenance. Shifting is a piece of cake with the kid-friendly twist shifter beside the seat.
And if you’re on a long walk and the Trets pilot starts to lose steam, no worries: The optional Push Bar lets Mom keep the wheels turning. With a drawbar and Weber coupling, the Trets can be hitched to any bike or trike – remove the front wheel and secure it to the mount, fold down the handlebars, and fasten. The racing triker in the rear seat can either pedal along or relax – strapped in and as safe as with a standard child trailer. And when the little asphalt-pilot is off duty, the Trets can be used as a bike trailer: Fold down the seat, and there’s plenty of room for a large travel bag.
