Built to take it and absolutely mountain-ready: thanks to the 27-speed Shimano Tiagra gears, shifted from the wrist with SRAM twist shifters. With the three chainrings on the Touro crankset, no gravel road is too steep. And Crazy Bob does the tire job: More than 5 cm (2”) wide with wraparound tread, these tires will grip any surface. The stiff 7005 aluminum frame keeps its cool, even in full-speed power slides – while you
hold the perfect line with the hydraulic Magura disc brakes.
The differential – both rear wheels are driven – full traction over sand and mud as well as wheelies that will leave humble mountain-bikers in the dust. The Grind 1 fork with special suspension-tuning by Hase brings a whole lot of comfort and keeps the trike on track, even in dubious situations beyond the asphalt. Transport problems are a thing of the past: Hase’s Quickstick hubs let you pop off the wheels with a flick of the wrist – and the KettWiesel is ready to stow.
