Together they will make it…
Dominic Gill is 28 years old, Climber, Videographer, Adventurer and Jack of all trades.
He cycled on a tandem bicycle from the arctic north of Alaska to the tip of south america (www.takeaseat.org), inviting random strangers on the back of his bicycle, the book of this story is to be published in May 2010. He has a new next project now:
This project involves an elderly man called Ernie that was one passenger out of 270 on his two year tandem journey, and with him he will travel across the States. But there is a catch. This man is 75 years old, has Lymphocytic Leukemia and an erratic heart, so he is unable to make his dream of cycling across his own country true… at least not on his own.
With Dom however, on a Pino Tour that gives him a comfortable resting position and the ability to freewheel if necessary, his lifetime goal can be achieved!
They will be accompanied by a fil Team and Dom works together with LLS, a large cancer research charity. Dom and Ernie have now received the Pino and these are their first comments: „So we put this fantastic machine together and I took Ernie on a 20 mile test ride… he didn’t pedal too much and I was extremely grateful for the free-wheel mechanism between the riders. The ride is phenomenal, really amazing, i’m very very impressed…“
